One of our most dynamic and versatile instruments! A precisely crafted bass that responds beautifully to velocity changes.
A fast envelope curve pulls down higher frequencies for just a millisecond, giving the instrument its unique percussive attack. If it sounds too present - try altering the attack time.
Good for arpeggios and chords, soft pulses with slow attack and even distorted kicks and deep bass. This instrument can do it all!
Listen to the demo — the only instrument used is Snappy Bass. Amazing.
Analog clicks for your digital tracks!
A unique analog drum sample instrument. Clicks, thumps, glitchy kicks and more. 8 velocity levels and 361 high quality sample in 96kHz/24bit.
The demo is made with two VU instruments — Click Kit and Wall Of Saws. The only effect added is a stereo delay on the latter.
A warm piano-type sound that can burst out into a square wave.
Based on two high-end square wave oscillators made in Scotland. We have used a Moog-type low pass filter and a resonant EQ modulation to create this rich and dynamic instrument. Lower notes will play back samples with the filter closed and with a sound similar to a keyboard such as Rhodes and Wurlitzer. Depending on how you set the envelope.
Higher velocity notes produce much richer and grittier square waves that still sound warm.
We sometimes use it as a bass or as a support layer for other orchestral instruments!
Dual FM Bass is not just a powerful bass instrument — it’s a versatile tool capable of producing a whole range of sounds and emotions.
Ten velocity layers of high quality samples (672 in total). Pulse and saw VSOs with a bit of modular distortion and filtering.
The demo is made with Dual FM Bass and our internal drum instrument L909 (will be released soon).
Metallet — the metallic mallet.
Metallet takes its inspiration from steel drums and orchestral percussions, but it sounds like no other instrument. We used several oscillators (slightly detuned sines and squares) and frequency modulation to create full-sounding metallic sounds with a tonal base.
As it is with most of our instruments, higher velocity will open up the spectrum.
The demo is made with a single instrument — Metallet. Effects used: stereo delay and spring reverb.
Complex Kit instrument is a collection of percussion sounds sampled in 96kHz/24bit.
Very fast and precise amplitude and filter modulations create complex timbres and structures that sound a little bit different every time you play a note.
In Wide Stereo mode there are four samples cycling in the left channel and four in the right. When Wide Stereo is off — eight samples are cycling in mono. Sounds produced by a modular synthesizer — albeit very precise — are never identical. The transients and high frequency variations create a very unique stereo effect.
As usual no digital processing involved — straight from the synth.
All percussions on the demo are made with Complex Kit.
Wall Of Saws is a rich sounding instrument, created with five boutique VCOs. We meticulously sampled this patch preserving every detail.
1221 sample in 96kHz/16bit and 20 velocity layers might sound like an overkill — but we think it’s worth it! Try starting with lower velocity notes (closed filter) and then add higher velocity layers for accents or build-ups.
The demo is made with only one instrument — Wall Of Saws.
